For the earlier planted cotton, this crop continues to load up very nicely, but it is going to have to have this rain this weekend in order to produce an above average yield that we are shooting for. Scouting Report 7/20/18

This crop continues to make good progress with the hot weather pushing it daily. Where we have good water this crop is really loading up, is other area I have noticed some fields have already reached cutout and are very near blooming to the top. Scouting Report 7/13/18

Overall this crop is starting to turn the corner and look considerably better at this time. It is a shame that we can’t have 150,000 acres that look like this. This crop may be uneven and mixed in maturity, but all in all it’s not too bad. The rains that we have had over the past week to 10 days along with the cooler temperatures have helped tremendously.
